Snowdrops is named after the flower that would bloom in early January around the fields of Chawton, England. Our family regularly visited Chawton, the once home of Jane Austin, and January was always a special visit. Our friend Jermey Knight would ring us up and invite us out for a walk to enjoy the fields of freshly bloomed Snowdrops. It became a cherished annual event.
