What is an Autumnal Ale, you ask? Good question! Like our Soft IPA, it sits a bit between styles. It’s fairly dark, resembling a hearty Red Ale, yet it also echoes the character of a classic Hoppy American Amber Ale. A solid malt backbone leads the way, starting with a base of Munich and Pale Ale malts. A handful of specialty malts add depth, highlighting a full spectrum of caramel, roasted chestnut, and malt-derived dark fruit notes. Moderate hopping brings in autumnal flavors we love—think evergreen, orange, mulled wine, and perhaps a hint of wood. It’s a truly delightful beer to enjoy with a good book, by a cozy fireplace, or both!
