We got together with the mead masters art Artivem again! This time we threw some mead into a rum/bourbon/rum barrel with some raspberries and blueberries. It was theGeorgetown Madman , Jon Olken from Full Throttle Bottles that came up with the idea of adding candy cap mushrooms, which added a beautiful, earthy maple flavor. These barrel, fruit and maple play perfectly into a well balanced mead that will surly be a crowd please.
