According to Prairie, this is without a doubt the best imperial stout they’ve made. For once there are no adjuncts in this beer. Just patient waiting as it sat in bourbon barrels. Aromas of toasty and sweet caramel along with dark fruit and chocolate. Flavors of chocolate brownie and caramelized malts along with the ever present undertone of bourbon from the barrels. A delicious barrel aged stout.
