For our latest collaboration with our friends at New Image Brewing in Colorado, we took a deep dive into New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops. It started when Freestyle Hops released a special blend of called “Nelson Bliss”, which combined early and late harvest Nelson with the goal of “capturing as much of the tropical intensity of Nelson Sauvin as possible without losing the brighter citrus and wine-y notes from earlier harvested Nelson.” From there, we added Nelson T90, Nelson Cryo, and Nelson Hop Kief to take the huge tropical sweetness as far as we can go.
